Aunt Kate lived next door to us on Ridge Ave. She worked at St. Josephs Hospital. Aunt Kate never drove, rode the bus to work and went to the grocery store everyday.

According to the 1910 census, Aunt Kate was living in the same boarding house as her father Lee and brother Fred. The census showed she was 20, born in N.C. and working at the Micca shop.
