Last Will & Testament of Nathan Thomas Harrison
State of Georgia
Murray County

In the name of God, Amen. I Nathan Harrison being of sound mind make this my last will & testament.
Viz:
Item 1: I will my body to the tomb and my soul to God who gave it.
Item 2: I will that my body be decently buried in some graveyard near here.
Item 3: I will that all my just debts be paid, which are not many.
Item 4: I will and bequeath to beloved wife Nancy the following property and effects. Viz: My black mare, All my stock of hogs and all my cattle, which consists of one cow and calf. To zyarlin (sic) all my household furniture together with all and singular the beds and bedding and all other plunder about the house. Also I will to my said wife, Nancy a note of hand I hold on John Bailey for twenty-five dollars. Also a note I hold on Mary Adair for Twenty dollars, also ten dollars being a part of a note I hold on R. M. McCamy, all of which it is my will that she shall have and enjoy as her own.

Item 5: I will to my son Thomas all my wearing apparel of whatever kind I possess. And thirty dollars cash, he being blind. Said thirty dollars being a part of a note on R. M. McCamy.

Item 6: I will to my son Jeremiah a note I hold on him for five dollars. Also I will to my blind son Thomas an obligation I hold on my son Samuel R. Harrison for fifty dollars it being part of the price of a piece of land. Except so much whereinafter paid. Vis: My will is that each of my children each have one dollar a piece out of said fifty dollars provided they ever call for it.

Item 7: I will to my son-in-law E. F. Farrington the following items to wit: one iron wedge one pair of plow framing, hames and chains and collar, my riding saddle and bridle, and all my axes except one axe which I want for my wife Nancy to have. I hold two notes, one of W. W. McCoy and one of Jube Dill, which I desire to be collected and paid over to Joseph Terrell towards paying him for leather I bought from him.

I hereby appoint my friend Robert McCamy as sole executor of this my last will and testament with full power to carry out this my will, given under my hand and seal in the presence of the subscribing witness hereunto annexed and given this seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two.
